In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Georgetown Public Library presents Chaski in Postcards from South America, a free concert.
Join Chaski for Postcards from South America, a concert of musical mementos from South America’s rich soundscapes. The journey begins with music from the Spanish Baroque, then travels to the New World for tunes that span the continent. Chaski’s performance features an enchanting combination of whispering panpipes, lively harp rhythms, haunting quena melodies, and some toe-tapping accordion tunes.
